I have fallen in love with the audiobooks/books, by this talented author. Each of the stories are heartbreaking, thoughtful , thought provoking , gritty, heart stopping, and heartwarming. You end up falling in love with the cast of characters, all brave men and women, flawed and imperfect, but with a heart , that at times hidden, beats full of love and compassion. Targeted, gives us Sophie Moreno and Jack Stone. Two foster children who became friends in one of the homes they shared, They fell in love, separated at the age of 18 and later meet again. Though, one is now a different person whom the other thought was dead. Once again, Ms Reus, takes you into their minds and your heart at times is crushed with her very realistic descriptions of the individuals and their circumstances. A plot that not only has a heart, but is also filled with suspense ,bad guys, Sophie and Jack two running for their lives and maybe their future. Will love survive, and will doubts be overcome? Lastly, a reminder, that a thank needs to be extended to all the men and women who are willing to die to keep our country safe. Definitely a story you won’t want to miss. I was gifted this audiobook.
