About this ebook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • John Grisham’s newest legal thriller takes you inside a law firm that’s on shaky ground.

Mark, Todd, and Zola came to law school to change the world, to make it a better place. But now, as third-year students, these close friends realize they have been duped. They all borrowed heavily to attend a third-tier, for-profit law school so mediocre that its graduates rarely pass the bar exam, let alone get good jobs. And when they learn that their school is one of a chain owned by a shady New York hedge-fund operator who also happens to own a bank specializing in student loans, the three know they have been caught up in The Great Law School Scam.

But maybe there's a way out. Maybe there’s a way to escape their crushing debt, expose the bank and the scam, and make a few bucks in the process. But to do so, they would first have to quit school. And leaving law school a few short months before graduation would be completely crazy, right?  Well, yes and no ...

Pull up a stool, grab a cold one, and get ready to spend some time at The Rooster Bar.

Don’t miss John Grisham’s new book, THE EXCHANGE: AFTER THE FIRM!

Would like to write a review, but Google play rendered the book finished after a few chapters. they charged me for this laptop addition and also for the same edition I am now perusing on Droid...what a ripoff, Billed twice for the same book one of which is halted well before the finish. Hopefully the Droid edition will continue to the end. Sorry , John Grisham, you who are myall-time favorite author, should beware of google play scams, as selling your material through google plau may cause you ill-repute..Thank You ....JoeZech

I never rate books and I am a huge fan of J.Grisham. But, this book was really bad! It was just a story about law students who lie, cheat and steal. And get away with it! And, they're not even like able. I tried to like them but there wasn't any substance to any of them. Nothing to like about any of them. I'm having a hard time believing that J.Grisham actually wrote this book. I didn't have to read a book to know that lawyers can be crooks!

Great premise, but lousy story. Grisham is such a good writer that I kept expecting an engaging story to develop, but it never did. As a read, it starts off strong, then kind of coasts down hill till it... stops. It will be my last Grisham novel, at least till I hear he's got his story-telling back. 😞
