《明皇雜錄》二卷、《別錄》一卷，唐鄭處誨撰。處誨字延美，滎陽人。宰相餘慶之孫。太和八年登進士第。官至檢校刑部尚書，宣武軍節度使。事跡附見《舊唐書·鄭餘慶傳》。是書成於大中九年，有處誨自序。案史稱處誨為校書郎時，撰次《明皇雜錄》三篇，行於世。晁公武《讀書誌》則載《明皇雜錄》二卷，然又曰《別錄》一卷，題補闕所載十二事。則史並別錄數之，晁氏析別錄數之也。葉夢得《避暑錄話》曰：鄭處誨《明皇雜錄記》張曲江與李林甫爭牛仙客實封，時方秋，上命高力士以白羽扇賜之。九齡惶恐，作賦以獻，意若言明皇以忤旨將廢黜，故方秋賜扇以見意。新書取以載之本傳。據《曲江集》賦序曰：開元二十四年盛夏，奉敕大將軍高力士賜宰相白羽扇，九齡與焉。則非秋賜。且通言宰相則林甫亦在，不獨為曲江而設也。乃知小說記事，茍非耳目親接，安可輕書耶雲雲。則處誨是書亦不盡實錄。然小說所記，真偽相參，自古已然，不獨處誨。在博考而慎取之，固不能以一二事之失實，遂廢此一書也。《避暑錄話》又曰，盧懷慎好儉，家無珠玉錦繡之飾，此固善事。然史言妻子至寒餓，宋璟等過之，門不施箔，風雨至，引席自障，則恐無此理。此事蓋出鄭處誨《明皇雜錄》，而史臣妄信之雲雲。今本無此一條，然則亦有所有佚脫，非完帙矣。（維基百科）
