About this ebook

When Alexei seeks the help of a ghost to deal with a swaggering bully, he gets the strength and confidence he hopes for. If in the process he hurt his best friend Sol, well, he can make it up to the wolf later. Things get worse when the ghost, an old Siberian soldier, demands that Alexei give up his gay life, which Alexei fled his home country for. The young fox is resolved to send the ghost away--until his sister, left behind with their abusive parents, falls into mortal danger from which only the ghost can save her. Now Alexei must choose between living the life he risked everything to have and rescuing his beloved Caterina from death...or worse.

Well I'm not done yet. I'm on chapter 26 and I am deeply in love with this book. If anyone has a suggestion as to what I should read next please let me know. If it's a series thing give the order in Wichita to be read. Pleas And thank you for such a wonderful story. A couple spelling mistakes but not enough or bad enough to make you stop.

When I finished Red Devil, I was thoroughly taken aback from just how different it was to Green Fairy. Where the main storyline of the latter was a bit more slice-of-life mixed with clique-focused humor and supernatural elements, Red Devil focused on problems that for a real person would be quite dire: being coerced to escape your lifestyle, threatened to be deported, bullied passive aggressively in the face of your crush, and dealing with being far away from a loved one in serious danger. Excellent read!

About the author

In the early days of the 21st century, he got up the courage to write some gay furry romance, first publishing his story "The Prisoner's Release" in Sofawolf Press's adult magazine "Heat." He has since won twelve Ursa Major awards for his stories and novels, and his acclaimed novel "Out of Position" co-won the Rainbow Award for Best Gay Novel of 2009. His novel "Green Fairy" was nominated for inclusion in the ALA's "Over the Rainbow" list for 2012.

He was not born in California, but now considers it his home. He loves to travel and dine out with his husband Kit Silver, and can be seen at furry conventions around the world. More information about him and his books is available at http://www.kyellgold.com.
