About the author

Julia Donaldson, the 2011–2013 Children's Laureate, is the author of many of the world's best-loved picture books. Among her acclaimed titles are The Gruffalo, What the Ladybird Heard, Stick Man, Zog, The Smeds and the Smoos, The Scarecrows' Wedding and Night Monkey, Day Monkey. Her books have sold over 17 million copies and been translated into 75 languages.

Sebastien Braun studied fine arts in Strasbourg, France. His first two books, I Love My Mummy and I Love My Daddy were successful all over the world. Since then, Sebastien has gone on to create many more books for children. He lives with his family in Gloucestershire.
