About this ebook

The sizzling first novel in New York Times bestselling author Gena Showalter’s new paranormal romance series, Otherworld Assassins—featuring a black ops agent who is captured and enslaved, and the beautiful deaf girl who holds the key to his salvation.

THE SWEETEST TEMPTATION...

Black ops agent Solomon Judah awakens caged and bound in a twisted zoo where otherworlders are the main attraction. Vika Lukas, the owner’s daughter, is tasked with Solo’s care and feeding. The monster inside him yearns to kill her on sight, even though she holds the key to his escape. But the human side of him realizes the beautiful deaf girl is more than she seems—she’s his.

THE ULTIMATE PRICE...

Vika endures the captives’ taunts and loathing, hoping to keep them alive even if she can’t free them. Only, Solo is different—he protects her. But as hostility turns to forbidden romance, his feelings for her will be used against him...and he’ll be put to a killer test.

I absolutely loved this book!! It was my first one that I read from Gena Showalter and now I’m hooked on her books. I have read this book 3 times already. Love the beauty and beast story line it tells. We all need a Solo in our lives. ;)

I won't say that the story isn't good. I won't say that the book isn't funny and compelling. What I will say however is that a 14 year old must have written this. Proper grammatical structure has been completely ignored and for the most part it gives the impression that it was written by multiple people who then decided "hey this is good lets sell it" without much editing at all it was then published by just taking out the usernames and timestamps that he messenger put there. Makes me ashamed of the literary industry.

I'm all for finding religion. But when u have an established writing style, don't deviate from it without mentioning the book is Christian themed on the cover or summary. Also really not into the pg 13 rating. This book was a drag and a downer. The ending was rushed too.
