Reading this in 2021 has really been my boredom cure. It is a fast paced, complex book with amazingly difficult puzzles to solve. It made me want to enjoy such library like this in reality. It is flawless book you should introduce to young kids. It's one of the five books I've read that makes me want to read the next chapter after the next.

What a fun and exciting book! This is a fast paced and engaging read that will challenge you (or your child) to expand reading horizons as you follow along with Kyle and his friends who only have a weekend to escape from the most amazing library ever dreamed up! Though in retrospect, it will make me look at my local library as second rate... Regardless, take a plunge into this great read and try your wits on the puzzle at the end of the book for an extra fun challenge! Great job Mr. Grabenstein!! Can't wait for the next adventure!

This book was amazing love it, I couldn't put the book down!!! To be honest I'm not a fan of reading, but I can read this book all day. When I was reading the book I realized the book was more interesting than tv, that'd right TV. I hope their will be a movie.

About the author

CHRIS GRABENSTEIN is the Agatha and Anthony award-winning author of The Crossroads and The Hanging Hill as well as several adult thrillers. He used to write TV and radio commercials and has written for The Muppets. Chris was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, when he was 10. After college, he moved to New York City to become an actor and writer. Currently, Chris and his wife, JJ, live in New York City with three cats and a dog named Fred who starred in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway.
