This is a book about some of the "movers and shakers" of Idaho in the 18 and 1900s, written in semi-dated language, containing some of the parlance of the day, but for the most part can be read pretty seamlessly by the contemporary reader. A lot of my relatives hail from this state, and were all very interesting, educated people, and it was fascinating to read more information about them in this book--I learned things about them I didn't even know!
