3/4 of this book is amazing! It was awesome to get a perfect balance of in depth history into the church. I dont mind the reformed Bias towards the end of the book, but what I dont seem to understand is why the book completely skips from 1600-1900? He skims over the American Revolution and the Industrial age. It is almost as if he got tired of writing the book. He spent a huge portion on the middle ages, but once it got to 1700s, it just ends and skips to 1900s. Also, I am very confused on how this book says events that take place in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s? The Author B.K Kupier died in 1961. Who is adding information into this book that was not there? If you want to know the early church and the medieval church, I highly recommend this book. But Calvin comes on the scene, it practically ends. The last part of this book almost felt as if an entirely different person began writing.
