About the author

Herbert R. Stollorz is a retired hi-tech inventor who was born grew up under the Nazi regime in what became East Germany. He fled the Communist area as a youth eventually coming to the USA where he repaired hi-tech instruments. Then he began to invent various hi-tech devices for Stanford's particle accelerators and the first wave of personal coomputers. For example, he was the first person to design and market the 5 inch floppy disk, but being a foreigner, he did not have legal connections to protect this invention. His co-worker founded Seagate.
