Ratings and reviews

Short and concise. However, it has some grammar mistakes and it could have covered more about the Android Framework. There is nothing about networking, theming, notifications, webviews, and many other little details (what happens when a user presses the home button vs back button for example). It includes a lot of Java stuff and that's always a good thing. Overall, very nice. Good job!

The book release was perfectly timed for my junior Android interview today. I appreciated how the chapters are broken into junior, more experienced and senior dev categories. It's a quick read, which is great too. The information provided was helpful to me, and for the price, I can highly recommend it for other lesser experienced (and likely more experienced) developers.

Good book to cover most of the android concepts. The book lacks examples for the concepts. It doesn't cover much of the java part. It should have covered a little part of data structures as well.. The book alone is not enough though you can refer it to summarise things!!
