________

Every year for ten years, a young woman's body was found in Edinburgh at Christmas time: naked, throat slit, body washed clean.

Ten years, ten women.

The final victim, Kirsty Summers, was Detective Constable Tony McLean's fiancée. But the Christmas Killer made a mistake. In a cellar under a shop, McLean found a torture chamber and put an end to the brutal killing spree.

Twelve years later, and a fellow prisoner has just murdered the incarcerated Christmas Killer. But with the arrival of the festive season comes a body. A young woman: naked, washed, her throat cut.

Is this a copycat killer?

Was the wrong man behind bars all this time?

Or is there a more sinister, frightening explanation?

McLean must revisit the most disturbing case of his life and discover what he missed before the killer strikes again . . .

Really didn't enjoy this book, just your typical story I've read so many times! Won't be reading the author again! Gutted as I waited 2 weeks for this book and was excited and it just didn't keep my interest at all!

Rip - roaring narrative with more than a hint of the supernatural. This is noire at its spine - tingling best. The final twists will have you gripping the book till the end, which will leave you rushing back to the shop to buy the next yarn spun by this top author! Streets ahead of Morse, McLean rubs shoulders with the likes of Rebus and holds his own ground as Scotland ' finest sleuth!

Found this author by accident read the first and now the second plus brought the rest in the series! I'm now getting depressed as there are only 3 left to read. Wish authors could write quicker!
