I have to say that I was scared to read this book. It is not my usual type of read, but for some reason I felt the need to give it a shot anyway. All I can really say is WOW! I did nothing but read this for an entire day. I couldn't stop reading it. I got up to use the bathroom and grab some lunch and went right back to reading it. The author works in retelling of stories so well that you are actually excited to see what the retelling will be. I know in the situation that is a horrible thing to be excited about, but I couldn't help it. The words flow so well and you feel like you are a part of the story. For this being a debut novel for the author, you would never know it. Her writing is beautiful. The detail is unbelievable and the story itself is so well written and thought of that I had a hard time coming back to reality after i finished the last page. I loved August, Maisie, and Perrie. They were such wonderful characters that I felt I could be friends with each and every one of them. They were real characters with real issues and that made me love them even more. The author does not try to make them perfect, she makes them believable. Now I have to say...the ending! OH MY! Talk about a cliffhanger. I don't know what I am going to do until I can get my hands on book 2. I have to know what happens! The author has mastered cliffhangers. She did it right even if it is hard for me to function without the next book! The twist in the end is beyond crazy and something that I don't think anyone would be able to figure out. I can usually guess what is going to happen in a book, but this, no way! It doesn't matter what genre of books you like to read, you need to get this book yesterday and start reading! You won't be sorry!

Quinsey Wolfe's Glass Vault was a book like no other. It definitely didn't end like I thought it was going too, had a great twist. I love horror type books and this book had my attention from the start, which is very hard to do. I loved all the twist and turns and all the different fairy tales that were told in a different, darker light. If you are a fan or horror or darker books, this is definitely the one for you. I was sad when it ended, and hoped there be more. Love this book!
