i have this book downloaded i couldnt get into it the first time but i was pretty busy and distracted. im gonna give it another read as i still have it in my library.

With true-to-life characters and a sense of humor that draws one in, this is a book I'll keep and read again. I'm now looking forward to reading the others in this series. I also have to say, as a mother of a gay child, I appreciate the author including those from the non-hetero spectrum without making them charicatures.

Death by a Honey Bee is the first book that I have read by Abigail Keam but it will not be my last. Can't wait to read more of them. I loved book 1 and will look for book 2 next. Thank you for this series.

Abigail Keam is an award-winning author who writes the Josiah Reynolds Mystery Series about a female beekeeper turned amateur sleuth. Josiah solves mysteries with her quirky friends in the Kentucky Bluegrass where fast horses, bourbon, and secrets abound.

Like her protagonist, Josiah Reynolds, she was a professional beekeeper and sold honey at a local farmers' market for years.

She currently lives on the Kentucky River Palisades in a metal house with her husband and various critters. She still has honeybees.
