For more than 30 years Dr. Bolton studied the Bible and wrote down verse by verse what he felt God was sharing with him in today's language. A Physician's Paraphrase is the result of Dr. Bolton's daily devotions and his thoughts on the New Testament.
Robert Earl Bolton turned 100 on October 3, 2014. Born in Saskatchewan, Canada where his parents taught in a little prairie school, he and his parents moved back to the U.S. in 1924 for broader educational opportunities. Robert graduated from Walla Walla College and Loma Linda School of Medicine. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Air Corp in Italy from 1943 to the end of WWII. After being honorably discharged he established a family practice in Wenatchee, Washington. His prescription for how to live longer than a century is this: “Eat right, exercise regularly, learn to trust the Lord more each day, walk on the sunny side of the street, and remember that the Good Book has it right—‘a merry heart is good medicine.’”
