Actually I loved the story, BUT to have a word crossed out and not removed from the book was a first, whomever proof read this book did a poor job as you read on and words are where they don't belong, this seems to be a problem in all books no matter the author.

I have always loved Regency Romances and thank you Bree Wolf for such a fantastic read. Rich and detailed with characters that draw you in and make you feel as if you know them and want to aid in their struggles. Awesome read!!

Bree Wolf has created a rich, memorable plot with in-depth characters. Some have been critical that it was too slow and did not have enough passion. I disagree! It is reflective of real life...where it takes time to fully know someone, to understand how their past may still drive their present and seek to control their future. An unconditional love is what Bree has shown us; in spite of how angry Graham Astor, Duke of Kensington, responds to his untouched new bride, Rosabel, she seeks to see past his defenses for Rosabel has come to love and cherish his motherless daughter Georgiana as her own child. And, previously shy, unfailingly obedient to her non-caring uncle and aunt guardians , Rosabel evolves into a self assured, strong woman worthy to be called a Duchess as she strengthens herself to confront her husband to acknowledge his deep love of his daughter. I also liked that Bree lets us know what goes on inside Graham's thoughts as he struggles with his grief and a secret that Rosabel has yet to learn. Their passion is deep, but thankfully behind closed Doors! Thank you Bree Wolf for your wonderful, clean Regency Romance. Patricia J.

About the author

USA Today bestselling author, Bree Wolf has always been a language enthusiast (though not a grammarian!) and is rarely found without a book in her hand or her fingers glued to a keyboard. Trying to find her way, she has taught English as a second language, traveled abroad and worked at a translation agency as well as a law firm in Ireland.
