I adored the 1st 3 in this series but try as I might I can't finish this one. I read really fast but I'm on day 5 of trying to finish this book but the heroine is entirely unlikable. She ruined the book bc I adore Nolan. He deserves better than a rude thinks she's better than everyone else big bird. If you want to stray from ladies with cute personalities that's fine but to be a serious woman doesn't mean she needs to be a straight up b****.

You forget how much fun it is to read about male lion shifters until you read about one! The mane, the napping, the entitlement, Nolan had it all. He also worked hard, cared about others, and has self-awareness, to a point. Clarice of course had little use for Nolan, except she did because her lady parts wanted him desperately. Neither of these two were great at expressing the mushy feelings, and it was a lot of fun watching them connect with each other and learn how. The added bonus is the ladies of Nolan’s pride, and his overbearing mama lion!

A continuation of the characters we got to know and love in the previous books - this time it's the Doctor. I love how three dimensional the characters are. It's fun, fast paced and satisfying.
