Ratings and reviews

I hate it but I have to say that this one did not live up to the potential I felt the plot and characters possessed. It was at best an ok read for me. I felt the characters weren't developed as well as they could have been and while I was originally pulled to this book by the promise of a story about a female race car driver as well as a story of revenge it seemed that both of these plot points were overpowered by the circumstances that occur. LM Connelly is a new to me author and I want to read more before forming an opinion. Hopefully other books will show more of their storytelling talents.

Thank you author L. M. Connolly for giving us a strong female character in Georgia. She is not only a race car driver but she works on them from the ground up. But she is not a tomboy or boyish in looks and manner but can dress up and will knock any man;s socks off. Which is what happens when Ronan Miller sees her for the first time. It changes his mind on how he plans to execute his revenge on his father for what he sees as damage done to his mother and sister years in the past. But as with all things life and history is not always as we see it. Georgia and Ronan are a fun mix to watch as we read thru this book and his father...well he has secrets all his own tucked neatly away inside himself. When will they ever come out? I am looking forward to reading more in this series and yes there will be more.
