Naughty King sets the tone and background of sexy Billionaire, Alexander King, and his strappy young Harvard grad receptionist-- Margo Buchanan, who will do anything to save her father's ailing business. It's basically a battle of wills and of the sexes really-- with both Alexander and Margo fighting their attraction with each other, while constantly trying to up and succeed the other, while also trying to reach their own personal and business goals. They are clearly very alike: as both are very strong, intelligent, and dominant individuals who will fight tooth and nail to get what they want. And what they want, they always get. Not to mention, their irrefutable repertoire and physical magnetism that neither can't seem to shake or stay away from one another...And yet, they try to fight it every step of the way! I definitely can't wait to see what happens next, seeing that this one ended on a cliffy! Got me excited!

I have been waiting for Naughty King since I read the first blurb about it, and I was not disappointed. Michelle Valentine has written a sassy sexy read that is the perfect introduction to her Sexy Manhattan Fairytale series. Alexander may come across as a jerk, but he's hiding a sensitive side behind his hot-as-heck swagger. And Margo, well, she can more than keep up with him. Seeing the two of them go at it is sexy as all get-out, and the steamy scenes, well, I am still fanning myself. These two are the perfect foil for each other, and I look forward to seeing where their story goes. I also absolutely loved Yamada; he had me laughing out loud, and Michelle nailed him, without making him seem like a caricature. He definitely lends some comic relief, while also helping Margo hold her own. Naughty King is short, but totally hot, and well worth a read. And, while it ends on a cliffy, it's the perfect set-up for the second book, Feisty Princess (Margo's nickname), so grab this 4-star read and enjoy!

In this first installment we are introduced to Alexander King who is an extremely handsome, successful, alpha man but can be a world class a$$, so is dubbed the Naughty King. He is trying to take over Dan Buchanan’s business and make millions by selling it off in parts. Dan negotiates that his daughter work for Alexander so they can find a way to save his company from Alexander. Dan's daughter, Margo Buchanan is beautiful, smart, and loyal but vicious when it comes to getting what she wants, hence her nickname, the Feisty Princess, the female version of Alexander. These two characters are so much alike, that they challenge each other like no other. That both frustrates them and completely turns them on. Their banter is smart and sexy and that makes the sexual tension and chemistry between them explosive. They have a business meeting in Las Vegas over the weekend with Yamada, an old friend of Alexanders. What happens in Vegas might not stay in Vegas. Yamada is a hilarious and also very observant and intuitive. He loves his old friend but likes and is charmed by Margo, which causes much shenanigans. I can't wait to find out what happens next in part two, Feisty Princess!
