An inspiring biography from the man himself Kevin Smith. I couldn't put it down until I finished, from his admiration of his dad, to the saintly patience of dealing with a certain Die Hard actor, it is great from the first page to the last. This is a man, that won't let others think or do put him down for long and he has risen to great heights. I look forward to anything Kevin Smith does.

I really didn't expect much from this book because I thought Kevin Smith would be trying to impress us with some off the wall poetry or other bull crap but I was pleasantly surprised. This was a funny, down to earth look into his life that I enjoyed very much and parts even made me laugh out loud. I started to listen to some of his podcasts because of this book and I am enjoying them very much as well. I am looking forward to a tough s**t part 2!!

I've always kind of liked Kevin Smith movies, especially Dogma, and bought this book on a complete whim. It's entertaining, laugh out loud funny and a really inspiring pep-talk, especially if you're an artist of some kind. If you can handle a little naughty language, and actually appreciate his general personality, it's great. And if you don't... well, don't read it. I especially LOVE his reaction to critics! To paraphrase: who the hell are you to judge when you've never created anything yourself? (he says it far better, the audiobook is great, he's the reader!) Applause!
