Ratings and reviews

This was a great story with Chinese history, legend, and folklore woven in such a way that was accessible to someone who is not familiar with these stories, making it a joy to devour this book and learn along with Zach on his epic journey westward from his home.

Starts out slow but as the pace quickens the writing gets better and the plot a lot more fun to follow. Definitely gives Percy Jackson a run for its money.
