About the author
Karl S. Hele is Associate Professor of First Nations Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. He is the editor of Lines Drawn upon the Water: First Nations and the Great Lakes Borders and Borderlands. J. Randolph Valentine is Professor of Linguistics and American Indian Studies at the University of WisconsinMadison. He is the author of Nishnaabemwin Reference Grammar.
