Oh my! I love the Masters and Mercenaries series and so happy to be able to read Nick and Hayley’’s story.The darkness that Nick holds gets a little bit painful. I am pretty sure I was hurting through some of the scenes in the book almost as much as the characters. We all know Des, Hayley’s cousin, was a bit twisted in her own way. I feel that she thought she was just trying to protect Hayley when she had Nick stay away from her. But oh how things change when the years pass by. When Hayley is suddenly back on Nick’s life, it seems Nick’s world tilts a little. Nick is trying to fight what he feels. As I always said time after time, the heart wants what it wants. Even if we feel unworthy of it, love can pick you a soulmate. One thing I love about following a book series, you get to revisit some characters you have read about. It is like visiting with family that you have not seen in a long time. So I was ecstatic to see some of my favorite guys make their appearance. Nick struggles so much with Hayley close by. Des was not a favorite of mine, but I love Hayley. Oh the things Nick says and does has my heart swooning. There is a lot of yummy sexy time, but there is a lot of regret and heartache too. I was all over the place. Being a Lexi Blake fan, I am so happy that as these series go on and they do not get boring or old. You get something new and exciting each and every time! This is a must read and I was so happy to get my hands on this book and get lost in book world! I truly love Lexi’s book.

I love all the Masters and Mercenaries books. Lexi Blake has captured everything I love about books. The love, the danger, the action, the deception and the making up. Once I start reading I just can't let go each book leaves me wanting more. Hope you never stop writing this series Lexi Blake. I love Ian Taggart and the way he is put in every book bringing his sarcasm along which makes me laugh out loud all the time. Never leave him out. Thanks!!

Loved this book and series so far, but I've loved every book she's written. Lexi Blake is an incredible author. Trust me if you read one of her novels you'll own them all like I do so be prepared. Well deserved 5 star's
