I am a lover of history. This book is captivating I find myself not wanting to read on knowing the sick end that befalls the charictars that I am coming to love for thier love and concern for each others well being .Frightening sadness for the royal family of France.Now I know why I do not like the French.Failed escapes,everyone hating so much on these people that were victimized by new ideas for a new government,. The French people got what they deserved,for the moblike evils they participated in........they got Napoleon.! AARON A> GILOFF 44 12/13/10
