Sit ringside while Jace Wilder—a bad boy MMA Fighter & Hell's Bend High's biggest bully— dukes it out with Ellie Cartwright—a sheltered good girl with nothing left to lose—on their bumpy road to happily ever after.

Brutal bully. Hotter than hell. MMA God.

Jace Wilder owns Hell’s Bend High and everyone in it. Everyone except me that is. The girls love him, the guys want to be him . . . I just want to stay away from him.

But when the death of my mother forces me into the Wilder home, I become his latest target. Only, I can't tell if he wants to torment me or take me to bed.

He may think I'm easy prey, a poor little rich girl down on her luck, but looks can be deceiving. I can give as good as I get, and Jace Wilder will never see me coming.

Ellie has lost everything, her mother, friends and wealth having to move to Hell's Bend Texas to her mother's best friends house. But what she goes through at the hands of Jace and how he treats her makes her want to give up and move far away from him until she finally tells him how she loves him. His just messed up and doesn't know what to do or how to love. Will they find their happily ever after?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love Ellie and Jace's Story. Ellie went through a life changing event with losing her mother and then had to start over in a new town, a new state and had to try and make new friends. She experienced some bumps along the way and the bully that is Jace Wilder. Jace has his own issues to deal with and that includes his new houseguest Ellie. They do their best to coexist and not jump into the feelings that each is having for the other. In the end, they each found what they were looking for.

This was a really wonderful read. There's plenty of tension and drama but also plenty of heart and emotion. I found it very easy to like Ellie and my heart truly ached for her. My feelings for Jace, though, were much more complex. To start, he's very hot, but also a very big jerk. As time went on, he did win me over, but I freely admit that I had a couple of times when I really would have loved to give him a vicious punch to the throat. You'll definitely be feeling plenty of emotions.
