I have been trying to find a good read since I have read the infamous Twilight by Stephanie Meyer series. And this one is great. To what I have heard this is Max's First Book. I am lucky enough to have received this book through a contest. But to anyone who should know that I would have gladly bought this book from the shelf. I love Zach. He is a couragous, but confused person. To have gone from something so tragic as being orphan and stuck in a hospital with problems that are more than any kid should have to deal with. I could relate to his love for the Hobbit. I too loved the travels of Bilbo Baggins. The base that was built in the beginning of the characters proved to be great for the finishing of the book. I will not spoil anything but you are in for a true treat. The ending is FANTASTIC!!! I would love for Max to write a sequel. You will want more. I certainly promise that! Thanx Max. YOu RocK!

I bought this book in Canada & i got to meet the author. At first i was a little skeptical about it, but its soo addicting to read . I juss bought book 2 - end of days and its better ! Book 3 is coming soon and im excited. ITS NOT LIKE TWIWLIGHT OR ANY OF THOSE MOVIES. Read it & i guarentee you'll like it.

such an awesome book.read this book a couple years back along with the sequal.read both books in like a week.they were both really good in my opinion.
