Ratings and reviews

It's been a while since I picked up a Susan Hayes book, but I have to say, I am very happy I did. I loved this book. The relationship between the three characters was heartwarming, to put it gently. Without giving away major spoilers, I can't say why I loved this one so much, but suffice to say, it's a bit different than most of her menage (or more) pairings. I liked all three for their own personalities: Pha's spunk, Tyr's loyalty, and Brax's fierce protectiveness. The end did leave me wondering what will happen next in the Drift.

Not just a mindless romp but a tale of mystery, an unusual romance. Not a big fan of futuristic fiction but this was a gripping tale that kept dragging me back. A real page turner.

Have space will travel. Enjoyed every flipping page. Easy enough to understand how the story and characters unfold. While still remaining intriguing enough to hold your attention. I enjoy stories with a continual "ooh I wonder what's going to happen next?" Or the "I did not see that coming!" This writer gives me the means to think and dream vicariously, through her story telling.

About the author

 Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family, and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and aaccidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef.

 If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.
