This short story held me through every single swipe I made. A truly beautiful insight into the heart and mind of a loving and talented lady. If it were a paperback the pages would now be slightly dampened, so very pleased I opted for the e version. A talented writer in every aspect and will certainly be reading more. To think that Foster carers give their whole life to help those children, that would otherwise not have the wonderful childhood that Rosie and her family provide. I won't spoil the tale by divulging the storyline, instead take the time to read it. You won't be disappointed. Just keep the kleenex to hand.

A knotted churning stomach and threatening tears share of this foster mum's emotional experience (newborn in this instance) and perspective. All valid, to be heard, taken on board, appreciated... but this was thankfully a short 'story' account about to become overstated at the cost of its own message.

For a short story (19 pages) it tells so much it is such a great book I read a lot of books similar to this by author Cathy glass and they are all heart warming stories that always seem to bring me to tears to know there is people line that in this world that don't think about how their actions are or will affect their children. Such a good short story MUST READ. Baby Sarah was so lucky to live the first 6 weeks of her precious little life with Rosie ❤💜💛💙💚👶👶👶👶
