About the author

Cat Hurston is the cousin of playwright, novelist Zora Neale Hurston. She is an MBA graduate and mother of two children. She is currently a southern California resident but a proud native from Ohio and Theatre graduate of The Ohio State University. She has starred in and written films such as ‘The Right Piece of Pie” and wrote various other skits and Christian plays beginning at a very young age. She is a powerful teacher, speaker and ministry leader within her community with the vision to ignite passion from the soul of the reader. Her work enlightens, inspires and cultivates the artist that is buried deep within each of us.
