John Grant

John Grant is an award-winning author of many nonfiction books on film, art and fantasy, as well as a number of novels. His popular science books include "Discarded Science: Ideas that Seemed Good at the Time" and "Corrupted Science: Fraud, Ideology and Politics in Science." He was co-editor with John Clute of the standard reference work "The Encyclopedia of Fantasy," author of all three editions of "The Encyclopedia of Walt Disney's Animated Characters," and co-author of "The Chesley Awards: A Retrospective."He has received the Hugo Award (twice), the World Fantasy Award, the "Locus" Award, the Chesley Award and a number of others including a rare British Science Fiction Association Special Award for his role in the Clute/Nicholls "Encyclopedia of Science Fiction.""
