Waltz stars as Ulrich Mott, an eccentric and smooth-talking social climber who seems to have everyone in Washington, D.C. wrapped around his finger. interesting, authentic. Left me with just enough ambiguity to appreciate the quirky character and embedded meanings. Gripped me with tension and humor throughout. Acting was superior. One gripe I have is the over the top music. Silence is often the perfect movie music especially in an ironic black comedy/satire like this. Overall, highly memorable and well crafted movie.
