I did not have high expectations for this movie and repeatedly passed it up until now...The acting is not bad but whom ever wrote the script dialog between the sisters was sub par..It is somewhat predictable but as you begin to go "ok this is about to happen" there is a twist which was brilliant in its own right that keep you guessing... If you like a Simi scary/ Oh $h¡t flick than this does a decent job of that

Okay let's face it: we all know what we are getting into with this movie. Two adorably stupid tourists go on a shady, last minute, drunken hoorah of a shark tour and get stuck some 47 meters down in a shark cage with zero scuba diving experience and perfectly waterproof mascara. Mandy Moore makes me miss the sandy beaches and other movies I could be wasting my time on like candy with her performance, and my girl "Kate" is equally great to watch too, because, well, bikinis. This movie sucks. For all it's worth though, I will give credit where credit is due and say that the director has a few absolutely beautiful and stunning underwater shots, and the shark CGI is well funded. However, twenty minutes in, you can literally see the director's dreams and passions fade off and die a slow death, with a last hoorah of a predictable, yet still incorporated, overly played plot twist ending. The story line is not only simple, but also infuriating for anyone that has ever read any basics on scuba diving whatsoever, so if you feel like throwing back a few beers to watch two gorgeous, scantily clad women breathe really, really hard at the "bottom" of the ocean while you and your friends yell drunkenly at the screen what you would do in that situation instead, then this is the movie for you. Cheers!
