Ram (Vijay Sethupathi), a travel photographer decides to visit his native place Thanjavur. He visits the school in which he had studied in, which has loads of memories associated with it. After a few incidents, some of the school members plan for a reunion and Janu (Trisha), the first love of Ram, also joins the event and they meet after a gap of almost 22 years. The rest of the movie is about their past (love) life.

The director projected exactly what he wanted, to connect to people, to show the truth, which everyone feels but couldn't express. Every songs have deep meaning, both of them acted so well that it really connects you. Multiple goosebumps throughout the movie and of course by the end of the movie, LOVE WINS.

Its a romantic film which makes each one relate with it by recollecting our past crushes. This is the secret of its sucess along with the gentle acting of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha.

One of the best movies there is. They show how the emotions can be as simple as it can be. It is nice blend of old and new. How some relations are more meaningful without actually being in a relationship.
