From visionary writer-director Terrence Malick comes this story based on real events, about an unsung hero, Franz Jägerstätter, who refused to fight for the Nazis in World War II. Although the Austrian farmer is faced with the threat of execution for treason, his unwavering beliefs and his love for his wife Fani and their three children keep his spirit alive.

Take my heart and soul in through the darkness of evil in this world, reminding me God is creator of all that exists and in Him alone through faith, we have eternal life forever. Deeply impactful, masterpeice of the love of a deovted hardworking couple in Austria and the horrific atrocities that occured to those who did not obey Hitler. This man said no, tears, heartbreak but I hope it will touch many inside their souls so they reach out to God Almighty.

A real hero would join the allies to fight against the evils of his own country, this just looks like the actions of a selfish person.
