I read several reviews before watching this movie. Most of them good, but the ones that stuck out were the reviews that questioned "Gaga's" acting. Her acting across from Cooper was spot on. An experienced star walking the fence of collapse while another musician begins to blossom. she puts off a sense of innocence and inexperience that makes her believable. That is what makes this movie so great, its believable. From the moment the two characters meet you're invested. A must watch!

I don't get the bad reviews, this is a movie that is full of emotional moments that make you think long and hard on your life. The music is captivating and the scenes are beautifully composed. When you watch the movie you forget that you are just watching, when things go wrong your stomach tuns, and when things go well you begin to feel so happy that it's almost sad that it isn't real. Myself along with 5 of my closest friends went and saw it inn theaters and it became the one thing that we talked about for weeks. Multiple of them only ever saw the movie once because of the extremely emotional ending.

Damn. This movie... It just tears me apart. Cooper's take on this story finds its own footing through the realness of emotion and problems plaguing the two main characters. The chemistry that exists between Cooper and Lady Gaga blows away any romance I've seen on-screen.
