Acerca de esta película

Featuring the voice talents of Drake Bell (Superhero Movie, “Drake and Josh”), YouTube star Justine “iJustine” Ezarik and Jane Lynch (“Glee”, Wreck-It Ralph), "A Stork's Journey" follows Richard, a sparrow orphaned at birth and raised by storks who believes that he is a stork, too! But when winter comes and the storks prepare to migrate to Africa, his stork family must reveal his true identity and leave him behind in the forest with the other sparrows since he would not survive the long journey. Determined to prove he is a stork after all, Richard ventures south on an epic adventure, accompanied by friends big and small, to unleash his true potential and be reunited with his family.

This movie was much like a low budget Rio meets any other movie where an animal thinks it's another animal. I was terribly disappointed. It met all the cliché criteria for animated animal movie: the sparrow that thinks he's a stork, the bird that can't fly and the bird that is clearly mentally ill. The dialogue was so cheesy and stilted that it was like a cold read, not a finished film. It was hard to feel connected to any of the characters and actually care what happened to them. The voices were also just awful. Jane Lynch and some one liners were the only thing that saved this movie for me. She's great. The rest were annoying and forgettable.

Loved this story :) several themes such as disconnecting from technology is a good thing. That your friends or family don't have to be just like you it's ok to be different. Was an all around good feel show :) So glad Google play offered it free thanks guys :) appreciated having a movie to watch with my boyfriend's daughter :)

Great for older young kids. Not the greatest plot around, filled with cliches and somewhat fishy voice acting and graphics at some spots. The animation is clean though, and materials are are mostly ok if not up close to characters (such as eyes). Over all not to bad, and makes a pretty good film for kids that have outgrown most kid shows, but still can't grasp deep plot. Clean language and content (A rare thing these days) also make it family friendly.
