A laugh-out-loud comedy and twenty-something coming-of-age story about "the pie guy" who believes wholeheartedly that pie is the easiest, least presumptive, and affordable first date. One date and a slice of pie at a time, he looks for love in the big and complicated dating landscape of Los Angeles. Friends tell him one thing, his family tells him another and his therapist mostly just stares analyzes. Nothing ever seems to go the way he thinks and he begins to realize something unexpected, his search is not outward but inward. As he meets new flavors of people, he learns that all the pie in the world won't fill the missing piece of himself that he's been looking for; and maybe he's had that missing piece with him all along.
