Terry Brogan (Bridges), a cynical ex-football star, is hired to find Jessie Wyler (Ward), the runaway mistress of a ruthless L.A. nightclub owner, Jake Wise (James Woods). According to Jake, Jessie had stabbed him and vanished with $50,000. But Terry's mission is soon forgotten when he tracks down the beautiful Jessie on a Mexican island and falls in love with her. Trouble brews, however, when Jake dispatches his henchman, Hank Sully (Alex Karras), to bring the lovers back. Driven by passion for the mysterious young woman, Terry quickly finds himself trapped in a complex web of corruption, betrayal and murder. I rate this 5 do to the plot is Awsome it's one of those love triangle , Very dramatic from Start to End , this movie never disappointe,s me seen it and added it to my Library

This is a classic, as evidenced by the 4.6+ rating of a 35 year old movie. Rachel Ward is amazing as is Jeff Bridges, and James Wood. Superb acting and a fantastic love (triangle) story.

I Have Always Loved This Movie, great actors, good story plot, beautiful scenery, the awesome music of Phil Collins and the realistic passionate performance between Rachel Ward & Jeff Bridges. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
