Sandra, her husband Samuel, and their son Daniel live a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead, the police question if he was murdered or committed suicide and Sandra becomes the main suspect. What follows is an investigation into the circumstances of Samuel's death and an unsettling journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel's conflicted relationship.

Brilliant. This movie provides so many examples of cognitive biases like jumping to conclusions, making assumptions about the reasons behind someone's actions, projections, victim/villain thinking, and emotional reasoning. The argument is a great illustration of how different levels of adult development can conflict with little understanding of the other's point of view. The acting was outstanding from leading actor to the dog. This will stick with me for a long while.
