Stranded 205,000 miles from Earth in a crippled spacecraft, astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) fight a desperate battle to survive. Needed more facts involved from the ground (science & problem solving facts from ground control?) team & vendors explaining in brief detail how to fix.... because they made it.... & say how 2 fix... P.S.We need more movies like this.... and real NASA involved with with "Rich People" and or private investors supporting these types to answer fact finding Space living & chance possible atmosphere controlled moon occupation to remedy or curve population issue? 4-Big & Bright Futures! T.A.B.1./ Mr. Big T.

A very very good movie. In my opinion, it's not Tom Hanks best movie (Thst would be Catch Me If You Can) or even Kevin Bacon's (That would be Tremors) but it's still very well made

I am lucky to be old enough to have lived through the real life drama of Apollo 13! This movie adoptation has been thouroughly researched and down to the detail! All the actors involved played their parts excelently! A great exciting movie worthy to own! Just to think when I lived it I thought at the time, this crisis event would make for a great movie! Decades later somebody did! Well worth the wait! Thanks!
