A struggling blues musician estranged from his country roots and family reluctantly returns home to face his past in this award-winning debut from writer/director Susan K. Brigham. Johnny, a wayward artist, gets an emergency call from his family whom he hasn't seen in a decade. This mysterious message sends him back to Arizona where he left three generations of women alone and resentful. He finds his family teetering on the edge of collapse, his old flame naively waiting for his return, and the family business in shambles. Now he's faced with an impossible choice: transform into the man his family needs him to be or hit the road for good.
