A father and his two children struggle to escape certain death after an avalanche traps them in their mountain cabin. The plane crash that caused the avalanche leaves one survivor (David Hasselhoff), a dangerous smuggler, up against one of the buried cabin's windows. The family pulls the criminal into the cabin, but as time runs out, it looks like all will surely die in this icy tomb—if not from the collapsing cabin, then from the pistol of the cold-hearted stranger.
