Acerca de esta película

Kolkata a city of art, literature poetry and a city of violence. Violence which lurks in the dark alleys of the city's under belly. Violence which resounds in the city's chequered past. A past which can catch up with you. And then what do you have? You have three cops seeking the truths. You have two journalists seeking a story. You have one poet seeking revenge. In short you have "Baishe Shrabon". An ex-cop is called in to solve the mysterious serial murders, the only evidence being the verses from the Bengali poetry being left next to the victims. The detective and the ex-cop team up to catch the serial killer before another life is lost. (CBFC A CIL/3/8/11-KOL)

A genre-bending thriller that will be recognized as a classic as time wears on! A must watch for all movie buffs. It comes with subtitles, however some of the essence may be lost on those who do not understand Bengali.

Never seen that much of suspense before this film released. Many of viewers left the hall before ending the film {thinking about the film ended}, but after that they realized that the main part of suspense of the film was in last few minutes. Awesome movie with huge suspense and bold dialogs.

don't know whether it is a formula film/ offbeat film..N also der is no enough buildup for suspense n der r few characters to suspect..But nly thng dat caught my attention was..Sexual relations of ppl (Youth?) frm high, middle clss Bengali (??..May be..>compared to d present India) families..{Not regional..Right..}It maybe d 1st n imp region of British..But d absorbed culture is western wid ppl der justifying it wid references frm Stone age habits of Indian society which they mistook for culture...
