Regardless of the fact whether you have read The Killing Joke or not , you're gonna really enjoy watching this. DC is the unprecedented leader in animated superhero movies. The first half of the movie builds up your anticipation and delivers a new prospect, that of the relation between Batman & Batgirl, though there is a controversial scene . The second half is as good as it gets. What makes this even amazing is the returning voices of Mark Hamill as the joker and Kevin Conroy as the Batman. 4.2/5 from me.

Deducted one star for the useless first 30 mins of Batgirl which were not needed and spoilt the movie. That part was never in the comic and writers thought they could improve the original masterpiece. Well they didn't and screwed up what could have been a flawless movie. Other than the first 30 mins, the movie is brilliant and holds true to the comic. I will never get it why Batgirl part was needed.

Too dark concept for an animated movie: Good parts are they've shed some light on the history of the joker based on the comics which most people don't know, Not so good things are the sexual contents, the movie could've worked without them, i don't understand the need of sexual content in animation.
