This movie was excellent. It was gritty, well acted and the camera work was great, as was the action scenes. It seemed like a metaphor for the take over of California by the socialists, that will have to be routed and thrown out of power come next Novembers general election. I wonder just how many regions can be taken back by the Republicans. Great movie.

Makes Independence Day look like a cinematic masterpiece. And Independence Day had groundbreaking special effects for its day, relatively well put together set pieces, this movie not so much. Waste of a good cast too.

If you've had your brain removed and you liked Independence Day, then you'll like this movie too. They are essentially the same thing.
