Twilight meets Third Reich. Spoiler ALERT. Woman (a Jew) sleeps with and falls in love with a Gustopo officer after witnessing her entire family slaughtered by the SS. She survives, everyone around her dies.

Great for its genre, as it's essentially an adventure story using the backdrop of WWII. Very unique visual storytelling with standout performances. Verhoeven proves why he's a great director, in story and style. Don't miss The Black Book.

Blackbook, a great foriegn film with drama, action, suspense, humor and mystery. A must watch film with a wonderful alluring lead lady who has to survive World War II being apart of the Dutch resistance while spying on the Nazi command. A MUST WATCH.
