For a family film I guess it's good if it helps keep your kid's attention span for its duration. It's obvious this isn't made in the US or EU etc. After 20mins I skipped to the end to see where it was made. And this was done in Korea(south ofc.)... animation was ok, story was actually quite dull IMO and lacks innovation. If you can watch it all the way through, congratulations. As others mentioned it's a Mish mash knock off of Big Hero 6 & Despicable Me/Minions without the charm or depth.

Reality Check
Mild animation, dry humor, and clearly imitating the Minions. This movie teaches you to work and fight for an unlikely goal at a way early stage. Has "some" moments for a chuckle, but the story ultimately mocks the reality that the "couple" would have been separated at childhood. Where as Sue would have been "wooed" by another man of her stature then married, and Sam forced to use his "childish" antics to amuse other girls around his meager lifestyle to try and fill the hole left by Sue. All around, this movie aims for adolescent girls to embrace boys of all class or lifestyles and devote to only one no matter what, while giving a low blow to all the Sam's of the world out there.

We (me & my wife) couldn't stand this movie for more than 30 minutes. All of the characters, sans the little minion rip-off bots, were devoid of any true emotion. The fart jokes got old really quick and there were a ton of them. The plot was full of tropes. Overall the movie just seemed like it was trying to, and failing at, being a Pixar movie.
