People keep defending this because "it's a movie, not a documentary" but it checks every box in the music biopic checklist. The time line is off which is understandable to an extent but the movie makes up straight up lies to make Freddie's band mates look good, which by the way is why we didn't get the Freddie Mercury movie with Sacha Baron Cohen. He wanted a movie Freddie would be proud of & Queen originally wanted him to die halfway through & have it be about them & make them look good.

I don't want to now. People should wait till the excitement of being F.M real life friend, wears down. Or the cocain. But I'm going to wait till 2022,I had to skip 2018. Too much hype. You tube and people fighting each other. I'm happy his estate is doing well. God bless to all the fans who love this guy. I'll live through yall. I'll wait. Make 1 on the Eagles or Don or Van.

I'm a HUGE Queen fan, but as soon as it became obvious that Freddie's voice was being overdubbed with vocals by Rami Malek and Marc Martel, I began to lose interest. It ruined the experience and turned the movie into just another boring biopic. Why on earth would you create a movie about such an incredible singer, then overdub his voice?? Rubbish.
