Acerca de esta película

A new documentary feature from executive producer Anjelica Huston, "Breaking the Chain," follows fieldworkers with PETA's Community Animal Project as they visit impoverished areas of Virginia and North Carolina to give care to mistreated animals who-without their help-would continue to suffer or even die. These heroes work on the frontlines of the animal neglect and overpopulation crisis, dedicating their lives to saving the less fortunate and alleviating further suffering against almost unimaginable odds.

This documentary truly is a MUST SEE. So many people don't realize how commonly dogs are still chained, neglected, and treated like lawn ornaments, as opposed to family members, which is what all dogs deserve. I am so grateful to PETA's Community Animal Project for going above and beyond for animals who desperately need them. It was incredible to be able to "tag along" with them through this film - definitely don't miss it!!! 🐶

A powerful, must-watch doc for anyone whose wondered what many ACOs see on their jobs and anyone who wants every dog to be treated as a beloved part of a family.

Bless PETA’s fieldworkers for coming to the aid of animals who are neglected, suffering, and sometimes even dying right in their owners’ backyards. Without their assistance, many more dogs would die alone on the ends of chains, shivering in the cold, many more cats would languish with fatal diseases and broken bones, and many, many more unwanted puppies and kittens would be born, worsening this crisis. Seeing the conditions that so many animals are languishing in will surely be an eye-opener for many people and a reminder of why it’s so vital for everyone to spay, neuter, adopt, and always report cruelty.
