From the creators of Cars comes a new, laugh-out-loud, heart-warming adventure geared for the entire family. Star racecar Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship on the road from Radiator Springs to exciting new places when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage!

compared to the first movie from 2006, this is sequel is not pure or straight. Because, first of all: Mater from the first film is just goofy and jolly, but here, he has a low IQ of intelligence, he is idiotic, and is making a scene in different places. He wasn't like that in the first movie. The story has a theme about evolving (Mater becoming a serious spy agent) but the message of the film (being yourself) is poorly executed and confusing; Someone who is dumb and idiotic is being themselves by being their own redundant person does not seem right at all. It's totally wrong. By the way, Mater has been hated strongly here because of how foolish he has been. Another problem that I have with this film is that the G rated content for this sequel seems very misguided; it should've been rated PG for action, peril, and rude humor. This sequel is suitable for ages 7 and up. The movie also has rehashed a few lines of dialogue alongside the elements from the first movie. The filmmakers couldn't decide that they wanted to make this movie for old-fashioned entertainment or a story with a theme while delivering a moral with a deeper meaning. It is a muddled sequel. There are some redeemable qualities here and there at times; Visually, the movie is an impressive ride; The direction (John Lasseter) and the screenplay (Denis Queen) is very impressive; showing us the slick, quick-witted ideas and script-writing for a spy movie involving transportation with rousing action. The sprightly score by Michael Giacchino is very decent and interesting, if not actually that strong or even above average, because the melody tune for the sequel's theme song has been reused again and again which makes the score repetitive. The score here is on par with the score for "Land of the Lost" (2009). And of course I have laughed at the very well-directed voice performance from Larry the Cable Guy who voiced Mater here. Mater from the first movie is better. In conclusion: the sequel to the black of PIXAR was not quite as enjoyable as the first one and it is a completely misguided sequel as well. Skip It. 2.5/5

I give Cars 2 a 6.5/10 Pros: Francesca Brunoli was a Show Steeler, movies not as bad as people say it is, Finn McMissile god Da**it, I like the locations, There's a car with glasses that's kinda cool, There are some good moments, funny moments Cons: Mater is the main f**king character, McQueen feels like a freaking side character, Doc Hudson is only mentioned in this movie for like one minute, so the cars are going inside a planes/Jets that is alive that does not sound right

Well, it seems to me this film was a bit of an experiment to see how the audience would react to cars being spies and what not. Truth is it was a miss. We wanted a film that's just about racing. Leave the spy stuff out of it because it was sort of ridiculous.
